HGH 191aa (Somatropin)
Recombinant 191-amino-acid human growth hormone studied as the reference somatotropin standard.

Research overview
HGH 191AA refers to the full-length, native Human Growth Hormone, a peptide hormone composed of a single chain of 191 amino acids. It is synthesized, stored, and secreted by somatotropic cells in the anterior pituitary gland. Its bioidentical, recombinant form used as a medication is known as Somatropin.
The primary function of HGH is to regulate physical growth and metabolism. Its effects are complex and occur through two distinct pathways. Direct Effects: HGH directly binds to its receptors on certain cells. For example, it acts on fat cells (adipocytes) to stimulate the breakdown of triglycerides (lipolysis) and reduce their ability to take up circulating fats. Indirect Effects: the majority of its anabolic (growth-promoting) effects are indirect, mediated by Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1). HGH stimulates the liver and other tissues to produce and secrete IGF-1, which is the principal hormone responsible for promoting the growth of bone, cartilage, and muscle.
The release of HGH from the pituitary is naturally pulsatile, occurring in bursts primarily during deep sleep. As a medication, Somatropin is clinically used to treat diagnosed growth hormone deficiencies in both children and adults.
