CJC-1295 with DAC
Long-acting GHRH analog with Drug Affinity Complex, designed to sustain elevated GH and IGF-1 levels.

Research overview
CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting synthetic analogue of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). Like other GHRH analogues, it stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to release endogenous growth hormone.
The key feature of this molecule is the inclusion of a "Drug Affinity Complex" (DAC). This technology allows the peptide to bind to albumin, a protein circulating in the blood plasma, which protects it from rapid enzymatic degradation and clearance. This binding significantly extends its biological half-life to approximately one week.
In contrast to the short, pulsatile release of growth hormone (GH) induced by its "no DAC" counterpart, CJC-1295 with DAC produces a continuous and sustained elevation of both GH and Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) levels. This prolonged, non-pulsatile effect is sometimes referred to as a "GH bleed." It is investigated for its potential applications where a sustained increase in growth hormone levels is desired.
